First of all, for safety reasons, the distance between the two magnetic switches should be 3mm larger than the maximum hysteresis distance. Then, the magnetic switch cannot be installed next to strong magnetic field equipment, such as welding equipment. Finally, when two or more cylinders with magnetic switches are used in parallel, in order to prevent the movement of magnetic bodies from interfering with each other and affecting the detection accuracy, the distance between the two cylinders should generally not be greater than 40mm.
The speed V of the piston when approaching the magnetic switch shall not be greater than the maximum speed Vmax that the magnetic switch can detect. The relationship between the maximum speed Vmax, the minimum operating range Lmin of the magnetic switch, and the operating time Tc of the load carried by the magnetic switch is (switch in Attention should be paid to Vmax=Lmin/Tc in the middle of the stroke. The specific usage of the cylinder magnetic switch is as shown in the figure below.
For example, if the action time of the solenoid valve connected to the magnetic switch is Tc=0.05s, and the minimum action range of the magnetic switch Lmin=10mm, then the maximum speed that the switch can detect is 200mm/s. Please be careful of accumulation of iron powder and close contact with magnetic substances. If a large amount of iron powder such as cutting chips or welding spatter accumulates around the cylinder with a magnetic switch, or if a magnetic object (an object that can be attracted by this sticker) comes into close contact, the magnetic force in the cylinder may be taken away, causing the switch to fail to operate. .
Another thing is to regularly check whether the position of the magnetic switch is offset. It cannot be directly connected to the power supply and must be connected in series with the load. And the load must not be short-circuited to prevent the switch from burning out. Neither the load voltage nor the maximum load current exceeds the maximum allowable capacity of the magnetic switch, otherwise its lifespan will be greatly reduced.
For DC power, connect the tea wire to the "+" level and the blue wire to the "-" level. If the wiring is reversed, the switch can operate, but the indicator light will not light up. The fixed position of the magnetic switch should be as close as possible to the middle of the sensing area, as shown in the figure below.
Maintenance method of magnetic switch: Regular maintenance and inspection of the following points to prevent malfunction of the switch.
1. Tighten the installation screws of the switch. If the switch becomes loose or the installation position is offset, adjust the switch to the correct installation position and tighten the screws.
2. Check whether the wire is damaged. Damage to the wire will cause poor insulation. If damage is found, the switch should be replaced or the wire repaired in time.
Cylinder maintenance methods: If the cylinder is idle for a long time, it should be ventilated and maintained regularly, or the cylinder should be oiled to prevent corrosion.
