If a capacitive load is used or the wire length exceeds 10M, please connect an inductor (470~2000μH) in series as close to the switch as possible to extend the service life;



When multiple switches are used in series, each LED has an internal voltage drop, so the load voltage will decrease, which may cause inactivity. Therefore, there are generally no more than 4 switches in series. If a series circuit is used, only one with an indicator light should be used. The load voltage can be increased by using switches without indicator lights for the rest.
When multiple switches are used in parallel, the voltage drop across each switch and the current passing through it are reduced, so the indicator light will dim or not light up;



When connected to PLC, the wiring is as follows:
The magnetic switch is a control signal and should be connected to the input end of the PLC. The figure above takes Mitsubishi FX series PLC as an example.
The solenoid valve is a controlled component and should be connected to the output end of the PLC.



Precautions for contactless magnetic switches
The first 11 precautions for using contact magnetic switches are also applicable to non-contact magnetic switches. In addition, you should also pay attention to the following points:
1. When wiring, the power supply should be cut off to prevent wiring errors, resulting in short circuit and damage to the switch and load circuit. The wiring length has no effect on the function, so please keep it within 100m;
2. Wiring should be done correctly according to the color of the wires;
3. For DC 2-wire switches, the internal voltage drop is below 4V. If the voltage drop is large, please pay attention;
4. When directly driving inductive loads such as relays and solenoid valves, relays and solenoid valves with built-in overvoltage absorbers should be used;
5. When multiple switches are used in series, the precautions for use are the same as when multiple contact switches are connected in series, because each non-contact switch has an internal voltage drop (connection method on the left)



6. When multiple switches are used in parallel, as long as one switch operates, there will be an output. Which switch operates can be confirmed by their respective indicator lights. When the switch is not closed, since each switch has leakage current, the brown leakage current is large, which may cause malfunction. Therefore, the load operating current must be greater than the total leakage current.
For 3-wire switches, since the leakage current of each switch is only 100μA, multiple switches used in parallel will generally not cause malfunction of the load.



7. When connected to PLC, the wiring is as follows:





Three-wire contactless magnetic switch, the brown wire and blue wire are connected to +24V and COM respectively, and the black wire is connected to the PLC input point X….
Four/five-wire magnetic switches generally have an additional set of normally open/closed contacts, and the connection method is the same as above.
