①Please pay attention to product quality. The product quality of the stainless steel cylinder is about 1.5 to 3 times that of the standard product (aluminum cylinder barrel) with the same stroke. ① Generally, nitrile rubber (NBR) can be used when liquids do not contain chlorine and sulfur. Please use fluorine rubber (FKM) when liquids containing chlorine and sulfur are used. However, depending on the type of liquid (cleaning fluid, etc.) that comes into contact with the cylinder, the cylinder life may be significantly reduced. When using special additives or liquids that have caused problems when using general nitrile rubber or chlorine rubber, please make a decision after investigation or experiments.


② Depending on the type of medicine and operating temperature, there may be cases where fluorine rubber cannot be used, so please fully confirm before use.





Things to note when installing CG5S stainless steel cylinder


①Do not rotate the end cap. If the end cap is rotated when installing the cylinder and screwing the pipe joint on the air port, the joint part of the end cap will be damaged.












CG5S stainless steel cylinder usage environment precautions


① Please fully check the adaptability of stainless steel. The corrosion resistance of stainless steel is not universal for all media and corrosive environments. Since strong hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, and high-temperature ammonia are highly corrosive, please fully check the adaptability of the surrounding environment.


② Do not use the cylinder with a magnetic switch in an environment containing oil or chemicals. When used in an environment containing various oils and chemicals such as coolants and cleaning fluids, the magnetic switch will be adversely affected in a short period of time (poor insulation, malfunction caused by expansion of sealing resin, wire hardening, etc.). Please contact our company when using it in this case. Even though the seal is made of fluorine rubber, the auto switch related parts (auto switch body, mounting brackets, built-in magnets) have the same specifications as the standard products, so before use, please check the suitability (drug resistance) of the use environment (chemical liquid, etc.) sex, etc.).


③ Do not submerge the cylinder in water or chemical liquid. When the cylinder is used under water pressure, the liquid will immerse into the cylinder prematurely. In severe cases, it may flow back into the pipes, causing damage to the solenoid valve.

Other notes on the CG5S series


① The function of the sealant* on the threads at the joint between the end cover and the cylinder barrel is to maintain air tightness. When the cylinder is disassembled, the old sealant must be completely removed and new sealant applied before reassembly. Locking Fastener 542 (medium strength) equivalent.


② Bore diameter φ50 or above cannot be disassembled. When disassembling a cylinder with a bore diameter of φ20 to φ40, use a vise to hold the rod-side end cap or the two-wide part of the rod-less end cap, loosen the other end with a wrench, and remove the end cap. When tightening again, tighten 2° more from the removed position. (When the bore diameter is 50 or above, the tightening torque is large, so it cannot be disassembled.
