What is a cylinder seal?
The cylinder sealing ring prevents tiny particles of fluid or solid from leaking from two adjacent interfaces or prevents external impurities, such as dust, particles, and moisture from entering.
Classification of cylinder seals
There are many types of cylinder seals, such as:
1. O-type sealing ring: mainly used for precision sealing and reciprocating motion sealing. When used for rotary motion sealing, it is limited to low-speed rotary sealing devices.
2. Y-shaped sealing ring: mainly used for reciprocating seals that require low friction or want a large gap. The pressure range is 15~25Mpa.
3. U-shaped sealing ring: It is mainly used for reciprocating motion sealing under high pressure, fast movement speed and large diameter. The pressure can reach 20~60Mpa.
4. L-shaped sealing ring: mainly used to manufacture reciprocating seals in hydraulic systems, single-acting or double-acting standard hydraulic cylinders of piston rods or pistons, with a pressure of 0 to 40Mpa.
