If the buffer device is not used, when the piston moves to the end, especially in a cylinder with a long stroke and a fast speed, the kinetic energy of the piston hitting the end cover is very large, and it is easy to damage the zero components, thereby simplifying the life of the cylinder. At the same time, the noise caused by the impact is also very powerful. If the noise of a cylinder without a buffer device can reach 70 decibels, the noise of the entire factory will be as high as 140 decibels, which is similar to being on the runway of a heated airplane for a long time. It has reached a level of pain that we cannot bear.





So how should we cleverly solve the above possible problems? So the relevant designers made a buffer design for the cylinder.

Cylinder hydraulic buffer: This is also an extremely simple cylinder buffer method, with a hydraulic buffer installed at the front end. Through the unique damping hole design, mineral oil is used as the medium to achieve a balanced transition from high-speed light load to low-speed heavy load. Its characteristic is that it does not require adjustment in a wide range from small energy to large energy, and can achieve better energy wave absorption.






The FESTO cylinder standard not only puts forward interchangeability requirements, but also emphasizes safety issues. The pressure of the pressure test of pipe joints and shells is increased to 4 to 5 times the operating pressure. Air leakage occurs at the end of the cylinder piston rod, air leakage occurs between the cylinder barrel and the cylinder head, and air leakage occurs at the buffer adjustment position. When air leakage occurs at these three positions, we should pay attention to whether the piston rod is installed eccentrically;lubricate There is insufficient oil supply;the piston seal ring is worn;impurities are present on the mating surface of the piston rod bearing;and the piston rod is scratched. When we find problems after these situations, we reinstall and adjust them so that the piston rod is free from eccentric and lateral loads. Check whether the oil mist device is malfunctioning, replace the sealing ring, clean and remove impurities, install and replace the dust cover, and replace the piston rod.






When there is an internal leakage problem in a FESTO cylinder, there is gas cross-flow at both ends of the piston, the piston sealing ring is damaged, the lubrication is poor, the piston is stuck, the piston mating surface is defective, and impurities squeeze into the sealing ring. Replace the seal, check whether the lubricator has failed, reinstall and adjust it so that the piston rod is not affected by eccentricity and lateral load, remove impurities and use the purification system to compress the air.





FESTO cylinders sometimes experience low cylinder pressure when in use. In most cases, we can use a cylinder pressure gauge to measure the cylinder pressure through the spark plug mounting hole to judge the wear and tear of various internal components of the engine. As a result, whether the engine is One of the reasons why it needs to be overhauled.
If the cylinder pressure of all FESTO cylinders is low, you can inject a small amount of oil into the cylinder from the spark plug hole and then re-measure the cylinder pressure. If the cylinder pressure rises, it means that the gap between the piston ring and the cylinder wall is too large. If the cylinder pressure does not change, it means that the valve or cylinder gasket seal is poor.

The FESTO cylinder can visually observe the internal conditions of the engine through the endoscope. For example, when a vehicle experiences low cylinder pressure after wading into water, you should consider the possibility of water intrusion into the cylinder causing the piston connecting rod and valve rod to bend. This will cause a loose seal and cause the cylinder pressure to drop. At this time, it is easier to use an endoscope. to judge.






When the cylinder is dealing with problems such as low cylinder pressure, it is usually necessary to disassemble the engine and check the wear of components such as piston rings and valves. If necessary, the engine should be overhauled and the corresponding components should be replaced. Some chemical products such as anti-wear agents on the market claim to be able to increase cylinder pressure and improve power. If the cylinder pressure is too low due to severe wear of components such as piston rings, repairing it with anti-wear agents is usually difficult to achieve good repair results.






If the above situation occurs in the cylinder, the center of the piston rod needs to be readjusted, so as to effectively ensure the copper axis of the piston rod and cylinder barrel.
