pneumatic or hydraulic actuators. This must solve the problem of external leakage of the long-term valve stem dynamic seal;only the solenoid valve uses electromagnetic force to act on the magnetic isolation sleeve of the electric control valve. The iron core inside the tube is complete and there is no dynamic seal, so external leakage is easy to block. It is difficult to control the torque of electric valves
and it is easy to produce internal leakage and even break the valve stem head;the structure of the solenoid valve makes it easy to control internal leakage until it is reduced to zero. Therefore, the use of solenoid valves is particularly safe and is especially suitable for corrosive, toxic or high and low temperature media.
(2) The system is simple, easy to connect to a computer, and the price is low. The solenoid valve itself has a simple structure and low price. It is easier to install and maintain than other types of actuators such as control valves. What is more significant is that the automatic control system is much simpler and the price is much lower. Since the solenoid valve is controlled by a switch signal, it is very convenient to connect with an industrial control computer. In today's era when computers are popularized and prices have dropped significantly, the advantages of solenoid valves are even more obvious.
(3) The action is fast, the power is small, and the appearance is lightweight. The response time of the solenoid valve can be as short as a few milliseconds, and even the pilot solenoid valve can be controlled within tens of milliseconds. Due to its self-contained loop, it is more responsive than other automatic control valves. A properly designed solenoid valve coil has very low power consumption and is an energy-saving product;it can also automatically maintain the valve position by simply triggering the action, which is usually not required at all. No power consumption. The solenoid valve has a small appearance and size, which not only saves space, but also is light and beautiful.
(4) The adjustment accuracy is limited and the applicable media is limited. Solenoid valves usually only have two states of switching, and the valve core can only be in two extreme positions and cannot be adjusted continuously. (There are many new ideas trying to break through, but are still in the trial trial stage) so the adjustment accuracy is still subject to certain limitations. Solenoid valves have high requirements for the purity of the medium. Media containing granular particles cannot be used. If they are impurities, they must be filtered out first. In addition, viscous media cannot be used, and the applicable media viscosity range of specific products is relatively narrow. (5) Various models and wide range of uses.
