Nitrogen gas spring refers to
High-pressure gas (nitrogen: non-flammable) is enclosed in a sealed cylinder, and the reaction force of the gas is used as a spring. Although this kind of nitrogen gas spring is compact in appearance, it can obtain a smaller spring constant under a larger initial load, so it can be widely used in various machinery, furniture, automobiles, OA equipment, etc. \n
Features
· Although it is lightweight, it can obtain a large spring force (reaction force).
· The spring force (reaction force) remains essentially constant over longer strokes.
· Can be designed according to the purpose and has a wide range of applications.

About choice
1. Please use the following formula to calculate the necessary reaction force (F). \nF: Necessary reaction force (at maximum length)
W: Weight of door etc.
A: Horizontal distance from the fulcrum (hinge of a door, etc.) to the center of gravity
B: The vertical distance from the fulcrum (the hinge of a door, etc.) to the axis of the nitrogen gas spring
2. Please set the reaction force of the selected nitrogen gas spring to F×1.1 or above.
3. The necessary reaction force (F×1.1) is greater than the maximum length of the nitrogen gas spring? () mm when the reaction force is large, please use two or more nitrogen gas springs.
4. The reaction force is set at 20℃. As the temperature changes, the repulsive force increases or decreases. \n
Precautions for use (general to GSS·FGSS·HFGSS·FRGSS)
· Please pay attention to the temperature of the nitrogen gas spring during use and storage.
(Product temperature range: GSS・FGSS: −20℃~60℃ / HFGSS: −20℃~80℃ / FRGSS: −30℃~80℃)
· Gas reaction force varies slightly depending on the product.
· Gas reaction force changes due to temperature.
· The reaction force may decrease depending on the usage environment, frequency, etc. If the necessary reaction force cannot be achieved, please replace the product.
· Do not store it in an environment where the piston rod may rust or in a pharmaceutical environment. · Do not use nitrogen gas springs. Also, do not spray nitrogen gas springs.
· Do not damage the cylinder and piston rod. In addition, do not apply bending load or twisting force to the nitrogen gas spring.
· Do not extend the nitrogen spring beyond the maximum length. Even at the maximum stroke (during compression), please leave about 10mm of margin at the end of the stroke and use it within this range. In addition, do not expand or contract the nitrogen gas spring at a high speed (more than 1m/s as a guide).
· For the GSS type, please put the cylinder side up and the piston rod side down when using it so that the hydraulic oil inside protects the rubber sealing material. Please use the GSS and FRGSS within the tilt range of 60 degrees or more. Although there is no restriction on the use angle of the FGSS·HFGSS type, it is recommended to use it with the piston rod facing downwards.

Features of nitrogen gas spring installation direction free type (FGSS·FGSB)
Introduction to installation direction free nitrogen gas spring
1. By sealing nitrogen (non-flammable) in the gas C chamber, the reaction force of the gas can be used as a spring through the free piston.
2. Because the gas chamber C pressurizes the hydraulic oil chamber AB, it always has a repulsive force in the extension direction. Therefore, the magnitude of the repulsive force is determined by the internal pressure of the gas chamber C.
3. When the piston rod moves at the specified position, the hydraulic oil in the AB chamber moves through the flow hole on the piston.
4. In the cylinder, the volume change of the piston rod is adjusted according to the changes in the gas chamber C.
