Why is the solenoid valve easily broken?
The reasons why the solenoid valve is broken are:
Coil: Damage caused by long-term work, frequent starts, current, and voltage shocks.
The wear of the valve core and the mating surface causes excessive clearance and failure.
Introduction to solenoid valve: Solenoid valve (Electromagnetic valve) is an industrial equipment controlled by electromagnetism. It is a basic component of automation used to control fluids. It is an actuator and is not limited to hydraulic and pneumatic. Used in industrial control systems to adjust the direction, flow, speed and other parameters of the medium. Solenoid valves can cooperate with different circuits to achieve expected control, and the control accuracy and flexibility can be guaranteed. There are many types of solenoid valves. Different solenoid valves play a role in different positions of the control system. The most commonly used ones are one-way valves, safety valves, directional control valves, speed regulating valves, etc.
If the solenoid valve fails, you should:
The solenoid valve does not work after being energized
Check if the power wiring is bad → Rewire and connect the connector
Different types of solenoid valves
Check whether the power supply voltage is within the ± working range - → adjust to the normal position range
Is the coil desoldered → re-soldering
Coil short circuit→replace coil
Is the working pressure difference inappropriate → adjust the pressure difference → or replace the appropriate solenoid valve
Fluid temperature is too high → Replace appropriate solenoid valve
There are impurities that make the main valve core and moving iron core of the solenoid valve stuck → clean them. If the seal is damaged, replace the seal and install a filter.
The liquid viscosity is too high, the frequency is too high and the service life has expired → Replace the product
Solenoid valve cannot be closed
The seal of the main valve core or the armature core is damaged → replace the seal.
Are the fluid temperature and viscosity too high? → Replace the corresponding solenoid valve.
If impurities enter the solenoid valve core or moving iron core → clean it
The spring life has expired or is deformed → replace
The orifice balance hole is clogged → clean it in time
The working frequency is too high or the lifespan has expired→Change the product or update the product
Other situations
Internal leakage → Check whether the seal is damaged and whether the spring is poorly assembled
External leakage→The connection is loose or the seal is broken→Tighten the screws or replace the seal
There is noise when powering on → The solid parts on the head are loose, tighten them. The voltage fluctuation is not within the allowable range. Adjust the voltage. If the core suction surface has impurities or is uneven, clean or replace it in time.
Why do pneumatic solenoid valves often burn out?
1. The solenoid valve has been charged for a long time and overheated. The reason may be that there is a problem with the circuit and the solenoid valve is not released. This is a serious suspicion.
2. The solenoid valve voltage is too high and the selection is wrong. Generally, high-voltage coils are easy to burn out and should be taken seriously.
3. Water or oil in the coil is short-circuited.
4. The quality is poor. The newly replaced valve core and valve head do not match well. It is recommended to replace it together with the valve body when replacing it.
5. The plug type has poor contact and generates heat during operation.
What causes the solenoid valve to get stuck?
The hydraulic oil is dirty, the voltage is insufficient, the windings are attenuated, the valve core mating surface is of poor processing quality (not round, not axial), the mating surface is scratched, etc. When stuck, feel whether the electromagnetic coil is hot or not, and you will have a rough idea.
