What brand is schunk cylinder?

Germany's Schunk was founded in 1945 and is headquartered in Laufen, a town in southern Germany near the famous industrial city of Stuttgart. It is a manufacturer of hydrostatic expansion clamp systems and jaws. The development and production of its automatic grabbing mechanism are located in Leading the industry in Europe and even the world. From a turning workshop focusing on material processing at the beginning of its establishment, after more than half a century of struggle and development, Schunk Company has finally become a global manufacturer of hydrostatic expansion clamp systems and jaws. Today, Schunk has four major production bases in Germany and the United States, subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy and other countries, and offices in more than 40 countries including China. agency.

Schunk's products are mainly used in the fields of machinery and automation. There are thousands of product series of different specifications, which can be divided into the following four categories: machine tool chucks, center frames, and jaws;hydrostatic expansion tool chucks and cores. axes;modular automatic gripping systems;modular workpiece holding systems. The carbon brushes produced by the German schunk company are collectively called schunk carbon brushes. They are widely used in small motors around the world and have excellent performance. Product applications include industrial motors, traction motors, flow meters, slip rings, home appliances, gardening equipment, office equipment, electrical appliances, and we can customize various types of power tools and carbon brushes for professionals.

German Schunk cylinder types

1. Single-acting cylinder: There is only a piston rod at one end. The air source on the side of the piston can generate air pressure. The air pressure pushes the piston to generate thrust and returns through a spring or its own weight.
2. Double-acting cylinder: alternately supplies air to both sides of the piston and outputs force in one or two directions.
3. Diaphragm cylinder: replace the piston with a diaphragm, output force in one direction only, and then use a spring to return it. It has good sealing performance but short stroke.
4. Impact Cylinder: This is a new type of component. It works by converting the pressure energy of the compressed gas into the kinetic energy of the piston's high-speed (10-20 meters/second) movement.
5. Rodless cylinder: a general term for cylinders without piston rods. There are two types of magnetic cylinders and cable cylinders. The cylinder that swings back and forth is called a swing cylinder. The inner cavity is divided into two parts by blades. Air is supplied to the two chambers alternately. The output shaft swings with a swing angle of less than 280°. In addition, there are rotary cylinders, gas-liquid damping cylinders and stepping cylinders.

German Schunk cylinder structure

The cylinder consists of cylinder block, end cover, piston, piston rod and seals:

1. The end cover is equipped with an air inlet and an exhaust port, and some also have a buffer mechanism inside the end cover. The rod side end cover is equipped with a sealing ring and a dust-proof sealing ring to prevent air leakage from the piston rod and prevent external dust from entering the cylinder. The rod side end cover is equipped with a guide bush, which improves the guiding accuracy of the cylinder, bears a small amount of lateral load on the piston rod, reduces the amount of downward bending of the piston rod when it extends, and extends the service life of the cylinder. Guide bushings are usually made of sintered oil-containing alloy and positive lead copper castings. The end caps used to be malleable iron. In order to reduce weight and prevent rust, aluminum alloy die-casting is often used, and the micro cylinder is made of brass.
2. The piston is the stressed component in the cylinder. To prevent the left and right chambers of the piston from suffocating each other, piston sealing rings are provided. Wear rings on the piston improve cylinder guidance, reduce piston seal wear and reduce frictional resistance. The wear ring length is made of polyurethane, polytetrafluoroethylene, cloth synthetic resin, etc.
The width of the piston is determined by the size of the seal and the length of the necessary sliding section. The sliding section is too short to cause early wear and seizures. The piston is made of aluminum alloy and cast iron, and the piston of the small cylinder is made of brass.
3. The piston rod is an important force-bearing component of the cylinder. It is usually made of high carbon steel, hard chromium plated or stainless steel to prevent corrosion and improve the wear resistance of the seal.
4. When the sealing ring rotates or reciprocates, the sealing of the component is called dynamic sealing, and the sealing of the stationary part is called static sealing. The main ways of connecting the cylinder barrel and the end cover are: integral type, riveted type, threaded type, flange type, and tie rod type.
5. When working, the cylinder should be lubricated by the oil mist in the compressed air. There are also a small number of unlubricated cylinders.
