According to the picture above, it should be said that the flow rate can be adjusted in the direction from A to B, but there is no adjustment effect in the direction from B to A. If the air intake is adjusted, then A is used as the intake air;if the exhaust is adjusted, then B is used as the intake air.





Precautions for installation of cylinder speed regulating valve (one-way throttle valve)


The speed regulating valve is composed of a check valve and a throttle valve connected in parallel, and is often used to control the cylinder speed.

There are two ways to install the speed control valve:


Exhaust throttling (commonly used):
It is generally used to use exhaust throttling when adjusting the speed of the cylinder. It has good stability and the speed control valve should be close to the actuator when connected. The cylinder diameter below 15 should be less than 100mm, and generally the longest cannot exceed 300mm. When the cylinder reaches When the piping volume of the speed control valve is much larger than the cylinder volume, it will be difficult to control the cylinder speed.







Intake throttling:
The one-way valve on the intake side is closed and the one-way valve on the exhaust side is open. The intake flow is small, the pressure in the intake chamber rises slowly, the exhaust is rapid, and the pressure in the exhaust chamber is very low. The expansion of compressed air mainly relies on the expansion of compressed air to move the piston forward, so it is difficult to control the speed of the cylinder to stabilize with this throttling method. Generally only used for speed control of single-acting cylinders, clamping cylinders and low-friction cylinders.

Installation method:
Generally, the speed control valve will be marked with a simplified diagram or large and small arrows (as shown below)








The installation method of the exhaust throttle is large inlet and small outlet (air in the direction of the big arrow, air out in the direction of the small arrow), and the installation method of the air intake throttle is small in and large out (air in the direction of the small arrow, air out in the direction of the large arrow).
Note: The above two statements take the air source end as the air inlet end. Intake means the gas entering the cylinder block, and exhaust means the gas discharged from the cylinder block.

Note that the direction of the size arrow of Yade's speed regulating valve is opposite to that of SMC:








Use the following speed regulating valve to explain that the intake/exhaust throttling is not absolute. When installed on the cylinder, the left one in the figure below is the exhaust throttling type, and the right one is the intake throttling type. If it is When installed on the solenoid valve, the one on the left is an intake throttling type, and the one on the right is an exhaust throttling type. The intake/exhaust throttling forms here are relative.
