2. Cylinder usage conditions
1. The system pressure and medium temperature used by the cylinder should comply with the basic parameter values specified in the basic parameter table of each model of cylinder (see product sample)
2. The compressed air used to drive the cylinder must be clean and contain little moisture. Therefore, a water separation filter must be used in the pneumatic system circuit.
3. In order to lubricate the inside of the cylinder, a lubricator must be installed in the pneumatic system circuit (a lubricator is not required for oil-free lubricated cylinders).
3. Cylinder installation and use
1. Before unpacking and installing the cylinder, check whether the cylinder has been damaged during transportation and whether the connecting rod nuts or threaded connections at both ends are loose. Remove the anti-rust oil and protective cover (cap) before installation and use.
2. When installing the cylinder, it should be noted that the cylinder piston rod should not bear eccentric load or lateral load. The movement direction of the load should be consistent with the axis line of the piston rod. It is best to use a movable V to connect the long-stroke cylinder load and the piston rod. type joint or knuckle joint. Regardless of the installation form, the cylinder mounting base must have sufficient rigidity.
3. When the cylinder block is used horizontally, the "three-point method" can be used for inspection. First, use the piston rod to connect it to the load. When the piston rod is fully extended, place a level in the middle of the rod to observe the level. Secondly, when the piston rod is in the middle position, place a level on the piston rod near the front end cover of the cylinder. Observe the situation;finally, when the piston rod is in the retracted position, there should be no strange phenomena. When a long-stroke cylinder is installed horizontally, appropriate support must be provided to prevent the piston rod from sagging and the cylinder barrel from deforming.
4. For cylinders installed with front and rear flanges or tripods, avoid mounting bolts that directly bear thrust or tension loads.
5. When using a cylinder with single and double ears at the rear or a cylinder with a swing in the middle, the position of the connecting pin at the top of the piston rod should be in the same direction as the position of the installation shaft. There should be an appropriate gap between the rear single-lug or swing cylinder and the mounting bracket.
6. After the cylinder is installed, it should be run 2-5 times under no load using working pressure to check whether there are any abnormalities in the cylinder.
7. Cylinder speed regulation. When there are certain requirements for the cylinder movement speed, the pneumatic system must be equipped with a one-way throttle valve. Generally, the cylinder speed is relatively stable if the cylinder is installed horizontally with exhaust throttle. When the cylinder is installed vertically and the intake throttle speed is adjusted, first connect the cylinder to the load, adjust the speed regulating valve to the middle position of the adjustment range, and then adjust the output pressure of the pressure reducing valve. When the cylinder speed is close to the specified speed, it can be determined to be set. The pressure can then be fine-tuned with a speed regulating valve (throttle).
8. Using an adjustable buffer cylinder, fully open the buffer adjustment valve before operation, and then gradually increase the damping until satisfactory. When adjusting the buffer needle valve, turning the needle valve clockwise increases the damping, and turning it counterclockwise decreases the damping.
4. Cylinder maintenance
1. After the cylinder is in normal use, the working condition of the water separation filter and the oil mist device in the system should be checked frequently, and the water should be drained and refueled immediately. If the cylinder is not supplied with oil, grease should be applied to the sliding part of the cylinder for 6 months.
2. If a single-double-ear type tail or middle swing cylinder is used, lubricating oil should be added to the tailstock or swing part regularly.
3. During the use of the cylinder, all parts of the cylinder should be checked regularly and pay attention to whether the connection parts are loose. Cylinder span> Check whether the seals are leaking. If any problems are found, repair them in time to prevent accidents.
